Frisco Women's League Merry Market Place Shop for a cause! The FWL Merry Marketplace is a two-day holiday extravaganza in the Frisco Discovery Center featuring a variety of carefully selected Texas vendors. Shop for clothing, gourmet foods, gifts and more on Friday, November 18 from 1:00-7:00 pm and on Saturday, November 19 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Announcing the TECHNOVATION Series Sci-Tech Discovery Center and the Arts and Technology Institute are pleased to announce a new TECHNOVATION workshop series designed for 5th through 8th graders. Beginning in December, workshops utilizing technology to drive innovation and creative design will be held from 4:45-8:00 pm the first Friday of each month. Topics include robotics, animation, digital imaging and video game design. Discounts are available for Sci-Tech members and dinner is provided. Science With Santa is Back! Sci-Tech is once again celebrating Science with Santa! Join us in your jammies on Tuesday, December 20 for extended hours from 5:00-8:00 pm. Cookies, cocoa and plenty of seasonal science fun will be available. Plus, we heard Santa and Mrs. Claus couldn't get enough of our Mind-Stretching Fun last year. They plan to be back for more! |

Sci-Tech Fall Discovery Camps Get your little scientist or budding engineer signed up for one of our Fall Discovery Camps,November 21-23. Camps run from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm with pre-and post- care available. Send them with lunch and an active imagination. We will provide the seasonal, hands-on discovery experiences. November WOW Lab Activities It's time to play the music. It's time to light the lights. It's time to meet the Muppets at the Sci-Tech Wow Lab this November. Sci-Tech is celebrating the release of the Muppet Movie with Muppet-inspired activities Nov 15-20, including puppet creations, slime time with Beaker, food science with Miss Piggy and music making with Animal. Save the Date! Sci-Tech Discovery Center's 4th Annual Brainiac Bowl, schedueld for Saturday, February 25, is heading to Bourbon Street! (Well, really the back of the Frisco Discovery Center, but we'll celebrate Mardi Gras style.) Gather your friends and prepare for some good natured trivia and camaraderie while raising funds to support Sci-Tech's educational programs. This casual, lively evening includes a buffet dinner, cocktails, live music, commemorative photos from Silver Star photography and the main event- a trivia competition among tables for the coveted title of Brainiac Bowl 2012 Champion.
