Sci-Tech Discovery Center 2011 Brainiac Bowl
The 3rd annual Brainiac Bowl will be held Saturday, February 26 at Pizza Hut Park at 7 pm. This unique fundraiser, benefiting Sci-Tech's education programs, includes gourmet tailgating fare, auctions and a lively trivia competition among tables.

Grab your friends, family, co-workers and neighbors to form a team today! Tables of eight available for $1,000 and individual tickets available at $100. Come Tinker With Us
Join us this Saturday, January 8 from 10 am-noon for a Tinkering Workshop! We'll have a wind tube with various materials so you can create different flying, floating and hovering apparatuses, a cup stacking table and a tinkering toy table where kids (and parents) are encouraged to take apart toys to discover how they work!

The Tinkering Worskshop is included with admission. No advance registration  required.

 Math Midway- Final Days!
Only two weeks remain to experience the traveling exhibit Math Midway in Frisco before it heads down the the Musuem of Nature and Science. Don't miss an opportunity to ride on the square wheeled bike or play in the Polyhedral Plaza. Hours and admission information can be found on mindstretchingfun.org.

We Can't Wait to Animate!
Please excuse us as we close our doors between January 17 and January 28. It will be worth the wait when we reopen on Saturday, January 29 with our newest traveling exhibit-- Animation! Ever wonder what it takes to bring cartoon characters to life? Find out at this fully interactive exhibit, which features Cartoon Network. Learn how art, math and science come together to create superheroes, virtual worlds and spectacular special effects. Who knew science could be this much fun? (We did!)
