A motherboard is the central printed circuit board in many modern computers and holds many of the crucial components of the system, while providing connectors for other peripherals.
Just like the technical definition, the Sci-Tech Motherboard is a guild of women who are critical to the ability of Sci-Tech to carry-out its mission to provide interactive, dynamic experiences that inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to embrace discovery and innovation through the exploration of science, math and technology.
The Motherboard is committed to the Sci-Tech vision to inspire a new generation of innovators, engineers, scientists and educators and supports Sci-Tech both by providing volunteer and financial support.
Motherboard members receive invitations to special events and exhibit previews and attend quarterly gatherings that feature exciting speakers and information on upcoming Sci-Tech programs.
